Christian Sullivan - Osteopath D.O., F.S.C.C.O., A.F.P.O., Faculty: Traditional Osteopathy Program USA/UK/Europe
Being based in Bradford on Avon enables our osteopathic clinic to offer osteopath treatments for the Warminster area.
Since beginning my study in 1985, osteopathy has kind of taken over my life, ask my wife Eleanor! We moved to Wiltshire in 1989 and opened the practice, which has grown fantastically over the 25 plus years to the current centre of osteopathic and alternative healthcare excellence.
Osteopathy gets in your bones, (excuse the pun), and since graduating I have continued to regularly attend ongoing study programs in the UK, Europe and the USA, with post graduate colleges, and several fantastic experienced osteopathic elders.
I have been appointed a faculty member of the Traditional Osteopathy (Biodynamics) programme and a Fellow of the Sutherland Cranial College of Osteopathy. I am also an Associate member of the world renowned Foundation for Paediatric Osteopathy, having worked in their London based children’s clinic for several years.
I am fortunate to travel regularly and teach osteopathic assessment and treatment to students across Europe and here in the UK. It’s a real pleasure to be an active part of a thriving profession.
One of my real passions is using osteopathy to support patients with complex health problems, and so called “end case” patients. Many of whom have seen multiple professionals for ongoing health issues, only to be told “you’ve got to learn to live with it”, or “what do you expect for your age” (expressions that drive me crazy!). Practiced honestly osteopathy is a truly holistic profession with fantastic potential to promote better health. I truly believe that osteopathic philosophy and treatment has something to offer everyone.
With three fantastically diverse children, my sweet and patient wife Eleanor, and the treat of living in Bradford on Avon, my life is GREAT!
