Jonathan Hutson - Osteopath BSc (Ost)
Being based in Bradford on Avon enables our osteopathic clinic to offer osteopath treatments for the Westbury area.
I graduated back in 1996. Having always had an interest in how the body functions, I did very briefly consider going into medicine but a chance suggestion by a Homeopath led me to visiting an Osteopath; I was fascinated and within a few weeks had signed up to the course for Osteopathic training.
On graduating we moved up to Wiltshire so I could work with Peter Cockhill in Bath and Christian Sullivan here in Bradford-on-Avon back when the practice was in Market Street.
After 4 years and 2 children with my wife, Sara we decided to move back to our home county of Sussex; we setup a practice in Brighton where we have worked for the past 19 years.
Now we have returned to Wiltshire, having had our third child in the meantime, as the new owners of Church street Practice and are very excited to embark on this new chapter in our lives.
I really enjoy meeting people from all walks of life, of all ages and with a wide array of presenting problems. I was fortunate enough to train at the European School of Osteopathy which specialises in the teaching of “cranial” technique; I have been fascinated in its use ever since and developed my skills both in practice and through postgraduate training. Osteopathy, when practiced according to its core principles, lets us identify the root cause of a person’s problem, communicate it and use the inherent health within the body to treat it.
