"Osteopathy more effective than other therapies"

An interesting piece of research published in the British medical journal carried out on over 3500 people over 7 years has provided “promising evidence” that neck and low back pain can be eased by osteopathy.

It also stated that back pain in pregnant women and those who have just given birth can be helped.

Osteopathy is often challenged to bear itself to rigorous mainstream research so it is great to have been part of this - in fact, osteopathy was shown to be more effective than physiotherapy, medication, placebo and other complimentary therapies!

It was also interesting to note that they cited a worsening trend of musculo-skeletal problems linked to the increased use of smartphones and laptops, possibly due to the rise of home working.
